Hello, my name is Elizabeth Cleveland and I’m very excited to join the Friesens sales team in the U.S. I started my career in book publishing in 1995, working for a small nonprofit press in Minneapolis, and have more or less stayed in the industry since, working mainly in book production and print buying. I also have some experience with commercial print sales, but my heart has always belonged to the book world. When I was a print buyer Friesens was always my preferred manufacturer. The clients I represented often needed high-end, specialty work-I could always trust Friesens to deliver to their expectations. They were consistently the best choice for the projects, both in quality and service. Because of my history as a buyer from Friesens, I believe I can offer publishers in the Midwest region a unique perspective and expertise when searching for the best options for their book projects.

I was born and bred in the Twin Cities and because of that and my background in publishing I have maintained strong connections in the book world. I also have a legacy in publishing, my dad worked in the industry for most of his career. I am proud to continue the legacy by representing such a professional company as Friesens—they truly understand the importance of high-quality book-making as well as what the art of book publishing is all about.
